“My Life with the Walter Boys” Renewed for Season 2 by Netflix

It’s official — Netflix’s “My Life with the Walter Boys” has been renewed for a season two! (+ author Ali Novak has another series adaptation in development as well) In an announcement video posted on Netflix’s official accounts, showrunner Melanie Halsall calls starts Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry to share the good news!

Will My Life with the Walter Boys have a season 2?

Yes! Netflix announced on Tuesday, December 19 that the show is renewed for a second season.

On the renewal, Halsall said: “I am beyond thrilled that My Life with the Walter Boys has been renewed for a second season. We have been overwhelmed by the love and support that the audience has given the show and can’t wait to dive back into the world of Silver Falls and the lives of these characters.”

When will season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys come out?

The show still has to be filmed, and the season might still be in the writing stages, so it’ll likely be awhile before the Walter Boys crew is back on screens. A late 2024 or 2025 release is likely.

What can fans expect in season 2 of My Life with the Walter Boys?

Season 2 will likely take place not long after the season 1 finale. As of now, the book (of the same name by Ali Novak and published by Sourcebooks Fire) that the series is based on is a standalone, so there are various directions and creative liberties that Netflix can take with the story. The ending of the season did depart from the book, and leaves room for the story to continue into a season 2.

Will Ali Novak be writing a sequel to “My Life with the Walter Boys”?

Maybe! On her website, she states: “In the past I’ve said there won’t be a published sequel. However, now that the show has been released on Netflix, I may or may not be working on something exciting!
