In case you thought the news of Ali Novak’s “My Life with the Walter Boys” couldn’t get any better — it has! Deadline announced today that iGeneration Studios, the producers of “My Life with the Walter Boys,” are teaming up with author Ali Novak to a new series around — “The Heartbreakers Chronicles.”
What is The Heartbreakers Chronicles by Ali Novak?
The Heartbreakers Chronicles is a Wattpad series written years ago by Novak — the first two books, “The Heartbreakers” and “Paper Hearts” were both published by Sourcebooks Fire, in 2015 and 2017 respectively. There’s been no news on whether the rest of the books will be published traditionally now, but it’s likely.
The series follows each of the boys (one per book) from the band Heartbreakers as they fall in love. The first book follows Oliver and Stella, the second follows Alec and Felicity. A first and second season would likely do the same “The Heartbreakers” is classic Wattpad, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that I loved every minute of it — it’s my favorite of Ali’s books!
When will The Heartbreaker Chronicles release?
The project has been in development for awhile, but it’ll still take time to find it a home, cast, and film the series, so it will likely be a 2025 release at the earliest.
