[COVER REVEAL] “Dark Horse” (The Quiet Horsemen #2) by: Maggie Rawdon

We’re returning to Purgatory Falls on March 28, and I’m so excited to show you both the model and the alternate covers of Maggie Rawdon’s “Dark Horse” today!

The only thing we know for sure about “Dark Horse” is that it follows Grant Stockton, who we met in the first book in the series, “Bull Rush” – he’s one of Ramsey’s brothers. Although his story was foreshadowed a bit, we’ll know more details in a few weeks! (You can read an excerpt of Bull Rush here.)

Whereas the model cover for “Bull Rush” continued with the football background that matched the Queen City Chaos books, “Dark Horse” full switches to the casino vibe with the card suits behind the photo, which is such a cool transition – Maggie has great attention to detail! The same came be said for the alternate cover. I love how the font and flowers match the cover of “Bull Rush,” but obviously the golden chess piece is unique to Grant.

Keep scrolling to see both covers for yourself, and let me know what you think! “Bull Rush” just might be my favorite Maggie Rawdon book yet, so I can’t wait to see where the story goes next (especially since she connected her standalone novella, “Lords of Misrule,” into the rest of her literary universe in the previous book.)

Although not all characters from her previous books get mentioned in this series, all of them take place in the same universe – if you read one book, you’ll kind of get spoilers for the previous book, so you might as well start at the beginning of her Plays & Penalties series, her college football romance series!
