✨ WEST BOUND is here! ✨
What is West Bound by Maggie Rawdon about?
When I’m stalked and kidnapped from the convent by my father’s enemy, a cowboy hellbent on revenge, everything changes.
I’m torn from my cloistered life of simplicity, thrown into the center of a bitter fight, and held at his mercy in a small cabin in the middle of the Colorado wilderness.
There could be a silver lining though.
The quiet, bespectacled, heavily tattooed horseman has an offer: If I give him what he wants, he’ll grant the only wish I have. He might even be the one person capable of delivering it.
It’s a dangerous temptation. Just like the way he looks at me.
If I’m honest, the more I learn about the man underneath all the scars, the more I’m questioning everything I thought I believed. Especially when he makes a confession of his own.
But the cost for our deal? It’s steep.
I’ll have to break every vow I’ve ever taken.
West Bound is a cowboy x nun, enemy’s daughter, revenge romance set in a dark western small town.

Review:
Levi and Zeph were teased in the previous book in the series, Dark Horse, and I’ve been looking forward to it ever since! We really didn’t know a whole lot about him prior to this, so the mystery was intriguing.
The story starts off relatively soonish after the end of Dark Horse, but I wish we would’ve gotten to see more of Zeph and Levi interacting at the convent at the beginning, because I think it would’ve been sweet to see how their relationship functioned that way. The stalking he did of her that far surpassed what he needed to for the objective at hand kind of gave me the ick, but I suspended my disbelief for the sake of foreshadowing for the plot, since I knew eventually they’d fall in love. With that being said, for the most part Levi was actually really sweet and considerate of her, and the plot was really jump started by Zeph’s actions first, not as much Levi’s, which I sort of saw coming but was still a fun twist.
As always, I absolutely loved getting to see characters from Maggie’s previous books make appearances, and see how their lives have transpired since their books ended – and I’m even more excited for Charlotte and co.’s next full length story! Seeing how everyone’s dynamics shift within their own little units vs amongst each others is always fun to read, especially how characters are perceived by those around them (like Zephyrine meeting Rowan for the first time vs. when Charlotte met him).
Overall, I really enjoyed this latest installment, and am excited to see the rest of the Bull Rush Ranch gang in the fourth book!
Special thanks to Maggie for providing me with an early copy to review – the book is out now!
