Happy Book Birthday to Sports Anthology “Hit Me with Your Best Shot”!

The new sports anthology, “Hit Me with your Best Shot,” is finally here! My stop on the review tour is March 18th, so come back then for my review — but for now, read the synopsis of each short story!

WHAT IS THE HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT ANTHOLOGY ABOUT?

“They may dominate the field and rule over a million hearts. But watch them lose theirs to love in six all-new sports romances by your favorite authors.”

The six authors contributing to the sports anthology are Saffron Kent, Becca Steele, S.J. Sylvis, Ki Stephens, Jay McLean, and (my fave!) Maggie Rawdon. Keep reading to learn a bit about the tropes for each story, and of course to see the cover!

“Love Made Me Do It” by Saffron Kent is a soccer romance between a nanny and a single dad (yes, it’s also an age gap romance!)

“Sidelined” by Ki Stephens is a new adult soccer romance that involves college soccer and childhood friends to strangers to lovers!

“Tempted” by Becca Steele is the third soccer romance of the anthology — set in the UK, it’s a M/M college romance between a soccer player and an adult content creator.

“Call Me Teach” by S.J. Sylvis is the only hockey romance in the anthology, and it’s a forbidden romance between roommates (brother’s best friend)!

“Onside Recovery” by Maggie Rawdon is a friends to lovers football romance between a single dad and a runaway bride.

“In the Company of Darkness” by Jay McLean is a small town boy next door basketball romance that involves grief and trauma healing.
