As 2017 comes to a close, (which is insane to say….didn’t it just start?) I’ve decided to compile a list of 10 books that were published this year that I loved. And yes, I know we still have a little bit more than a week left, but I have a few other ‘2017” themed posts that I’m working on too and didn’t want to bombard you with all of them in the last few days of the year!
Before I get into the list, I want to make it clear that I fell in love with 99% of all the books I read this year, and just because a book isn’t on this list doesn’t mean it’s not an absolute masterpiece, it just means that a) I had to narrow the list down to ten *cries* and I went with more recent reads since they’re clearer in my memory or b) I haven’t gotten around to reading that book yet and I either haven’t purchased it yet, or more likely, it’s currently sitting in the black hole that is my TBR pile.
