If you have a blog, I’m sure you’re going to relate to what I’m about to say. If you don’t, then you just get to read a few lines of me complaining (sort of). The problem with posting a new book review every week is that there just isn’t enough time. (As I realized last year when college caught up to me and I had to choose between posting a review every week, or passing my classes.) I try to stay as ahead of schedule as possible, but there isn’t always time, let alone extra time. I love rereading books, but when I’m posting new reviews each week, I have to constantly be reading new books, not rereading my favorites, since I don’t want to post duplicate reviews.
So, in this post I will be listing a few books that I desperately want to find time to reread at some point this year! They aren’t in any specific order.
I’ve only read this book once, but I desperately want to reread it. It’s been 2 years since I’ve read it, and it was actually the first book that I ever wrote a review for to post on my Instagram! (Fun fact: I made an instagram back in 2016 to post reviews on, but didn’t get serious about posting until I made my blog in April 2017). I LOVED it, and really want to see it turned into a movie (as with the rest of the books on this list).
2. “The Heartbreakers” – Ali Novak
This is one of my favorite books of all time, and I do my best to find time to reread it every year. 🙂
3. “When It’s Real” – Erin Watt
I was scrolling back through my Instagram the other day, and can’t believe that it’s been over a year and a half since I first read it! (If you’ve seen the pretty star lights on my bookshelf, I got them through the “When It’s Real” preorder incentives!) I love love LOVED it, and I’ve been wanting to reread it for ages.
4. “Love Songs and Other Lies” – Jessica Pennington
I haven’t read my finished copy yet, but I read the ARC in 2017. I want to interview Jess on the book, so I need a refresher since it’s been so long!
5. “This Is What Happy Looks Like” – Jennifer E. Smith
Again, one of my favorites of all time!!
6. “You Don’t Know My Name” – Kristen Orlando
The third and final installment of these series had its release on January 8, and I have a copy of the second book, so I just need to reread the first one to continue on with books 2 and 3.
7. “Love Scene, Take Two” – Alex Evansley
I just love this book so much. I’ll probably reread it at the end of 2019, since I read it in the beginning of summer of 2019, but I just love it!
