Final Books in Best-Selling “After” series — ‘After We Fell’ and ‘After Ever Happy’ — are Headed to the Big Screen

The highly anticipated second installment of the After series, After We Collided, just released yesterday in some countries. The film will release in theaters and on VOD in the United States on October 2.

Today, fans received more exciting news — stars Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin announced via Twitter (@aftermovie) that the last two books in the series, After We Fell and After Ever Happy are going into production! While no release or filming dates have been released, and it’s unclear when exactly they will be able to begin filming again due to COVID, the news is something for fans to look forward to!

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of book adaptations — that is one of the industries I want to work in after I graduate in the Spring! (Psst — Anna or @aftermovie or Voltage Pictures — you looking for an intern?) Love ’em or hate ’em, it’s the worst when all of the books in a series are not adapted after the first few are released, so I’m so excited that both books are in the process of being adapted.

You can watch the full video of the announcement for yourself herelet me know in the comments what scenes you’re most excited to see in the final two installments!

Make sure to keep checking back on my blog for more updates as they become available!
