Review:
“Chase Our Forever” is the final book in the Sutten Mountain trilogy, a small town romance series that actually gets introduced in Kat’s previous series, the Black Tie Billionaires. I’m normally not one to seek out single dad/nanny romances, but since it’s Kat, I had to give it a shot! It was the first time Kat’s written this trope. I couldn’t totally get behind the insta-love aspect of the story, considering Dean’s emotional backstory surrounding his wife/Clara’s mom. You should probably prep the tissues, because this one is an emotional one (I also cried while reading the first book in the series, “Rewrite Our Story,” so…) While you don’t have to read any of the previous books to read this one, I highly recommend starting at the beginning of her backlist!
Overall, I think this was a decent ending to the series. As sad as it is to say goodbye to the Sutten Mountain series, I have faith that it’s not the last we’ve seen of these characters! Kat tends to have characters from previous books appear in other series of hers (or at least mention them), so I’m looking forward to that with her next series that she has already teased.
