[ARC REVIEW] “Need You to Choose Me” (Bluebonnet Creek #2) By: Anna B. Doe

We’re returning to Bluebonnet Creek! “Need You to Choose Me” is available now!

What is Need You to Choose Me by Anna B. Doe about?

One night, no names, no kissing had seemed like a good idea until I got a big, fat plus sign on a pregnancy test, and I have no idea who my baby daddy is.

I’m determined to raise my baby on my own, but then he waltzes into my classroom to drop off his son.

Blake Walker.

The newly retired linebacker and single dad is even more gorgeous now than the night we spent together, and since he knows I’m pregnant with his baby, he’s adamant to do right by us.

I promised myself I won’t be somebody’s responsibility. However, Blake’s a man who doesn’t back down, especially when it comes to his family.

As if this town isn’t small enough, he moves into the house across the street, and his presence is impossible to ignore. Blake is everything I never expected, and all three Walker boys are slowly working their way into my heart, but I can’t get used to it.

He wanted our baby, and I wouldn’t settle for anything less than a man who chooses me…

Rating: 4/5 stars

Review:

I really enjoyed the previous books set in Bluebonnet Creek, so I was looking forward to the newest installment, “Need You to Choose Me.” You can technically read it as a standalone, but I highly recommend at least reading “Kiss Me First” (Emmett & Kate) for context to read “It Should Have Been Us” (Rebecca & Miguel), which is where we first get introduced to Blake and Savannah, the protagonists of “Need You to Choose Me.” Bluebonnet Creek is such a charming town in and of itself, so it’s nice to return there.

Ever since we first met Savannah in the previous book, I was interested in reading her story. (And honestly, getting to see her finally find the love she deserves, because the boyfriend she has when we first meet her ain’t it).

I’ll admit that I’m not really a fan of the surprise pregnancy trope, but I trusted Anna to do it justice.

This is a great read for fans of small town romance, and it was a lot of fun getting to see cameos of characters from previous books. I’m looking forward to the next book, which as of now I believe will be released later this year!

Special thanks to Anna for allowing me to read an early copy – the book is available now!
